Visiting the Institut de Microelectrònica de Barcelona

Such a delight to have had the opportunity to visit the Institut de Microelectrònica de Barcelona (IMB-CNM, CSIC) as part of our partnership with the Digital Catalonia Alliance (DCA). ENIDE’s director, Francesc Rosines, witnessed the advanced technology and meticulous processes firsthand. IMB-CNM is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge chips that bridge the physical and digital worlds, with applications in health, environment, energy mobility, space and safety. We extend our sincere thanks to Jordi Daura Molins and Luis Fonseca Chácharo for deepening our understanding of the remarkable work being done at IMB-CNM.

Research and Collaboration

Enide found that collaboration between companies and universities is essential in technological advancement. Both parties have complementary skills that can be exploited for the development of innovative technologies. Universities can provide the specialized knowledge and research, while companies can provide the financial resources and know-how needed to develop cost-effective solutions.

Research is the key to technological advancement and can be driven by collaboration between companies and universities. By investing in research, new technologies and solutions can be developed that improve people’s quality of life. In this sense, Enide also learned about Artificial Intelligence research that is helping to develop solutions to complex global problems.
